Pay Attention to Details Don’t let the negative reviews on this kitchen turn you off. It’s really not that hard to put together. It only took me 2 1/2 hours to do it, and that’s with making the mistake of putting it together with my two year old running around trying to help.Yes, there are some screws and seemingly awkward things to do to build the kitchen, but it’s worth it. It is totally cute and practical- I purchased the white vintage kitchen for my little guy, and he loves cooking while I work in the kitchen. Keep this in mind while you put it together.Now, brace yourself. The directions are clear, but they are only pictorial directions. There are no written directions. Because of this, you need to look really closely at the directions and pay attention to which side of the board/kitchen is facing up in the picture. Most of the hinges come attached. A “Real” Kitchen That’s Easy On the Eyes We bought this kitchen for our 1 1/2-year-old son after having already bought wooden Melissa and Doug Fridge Food (, Pantry Food , and Cutting Food .
